Hexodam 05-10-2003, 03:43 PM Hi,
This is my first animation ever, with my first two real characters ever, doesnt sound good I know ;)
did this as a final project for a 3dsmax class at school

didnt have enough time to tweak the animation like I wanted to, but I think it came out ok :D

Very nice, although it ends very anti climatic. Maybe after he takes it out of the hat, he puts it back and walks off stage disapointed or something like that. Give some kind of closure.
Other then that i think it works very nicely.

LordShaitan,
thanks :)
thats probably because I had to cut it short because lack of time :P he was supposed to jump in fear and run of the stage leaving the hat and the rabbit behind
schmu_20mol,
friend of mine had some problems also, dont know why, it worked for him playing it in the divx player

You say you did this for a class at school? What kind? College? High school? 'Cuz I'm still in high school and I'm worse than excrement at 3D modelling... maybe my high school offers a course I could take.
PS - I'm having the same problem as the dude above. I just get a white screen with sound. Nothing else.
PS2 - Now I fixed it, and now I saw it. That's pretty cool, man. I enjoyed that.

LordShaitan,
I might :)
Mr_Lunchbox,
thanks:), I'm in a multimedia school and 3d is just a part of it all, too small part in my opinion :P

Ya sure you do? 'Cuz that was the same problem I had; all I had to do was upgrade to the brand spankin' newest version of DivX.

The main problem that I have with the animation (and the ONLY problem- the rest is BRILLIANT ) is that the sudden movements have no sense of momentum: He can just move his arm extremely quickly, and it will stay stationary at the end of the movement. What you should do is make it move a little bit further, (very slightly), and then make it come back to the position you want it to be in. Makes it look more natural :buttrock:
Very nice anim :applause:
