Continuing from my recent Self Portrait post,
I've played with the textures a bit, and rendered in XSI. Trying to match exact texture details using just photoshop was a bit slow and inaccurate, so I ended up doing it in DP 3D. All the post work i did to the image is just to hide the lack of a bump and spec map, which I'll work on soon. Comments are welcome.

Veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery nice texture. Like the
smaller eye too (F### symmetry :bounce: ).

But i miss eyeslashes. Even men have some *g
And I hope this won't be the final pose. Such
good model deserves a better pose for final rend.
A pose with more expression pleeeeeeeease.

*ehh and a lowpoly wire would be nice*

Happy rendering,
Ferdinand

Nice job d00d! I agree a wireframewould be cool, the model itself looks very nice!

it looks good. The nose needs work though, where it meets the face - it looks too 'stuck on' blend it into the cheeks more. The eyes are ok, the whites need some detail but the reflections arent bad. there are deep sockets at the bridge of the nose where it falls into the inner corners of the eyes.

Also I think the lighting could do with more work, try using radiousity...

Good attempt!
Ell.

Heres an update with a whole different lighting and color texture and eyes improved. still no bump or spec. It was composited in Photoshop in different layers., but it is still a test. Comments are welcome

Great work man

Nice modelling, but the skin really makes it stand out...eyebrows look V good, but what really catches my eye is the ear, superb work!

Eyes look a bit red tho......
