Title: Art Pavillion
Name: Willem van de Velde
Country: Belgium
Software: 3ds max, VRay

Hello i am a student architecture building planning and this is a design for an art pavillion i made for my education.

The pavillion was modelled in 3ds max7, the design was inspired by the work of architects such as Frank Gehry, Greg Lynn and Ben van Berkel (analysis of these architects was also part of the assignment).

I used Vray displacement for the gras and vray proxies for the trees.

Thanx for your replies, here are some more exterior shots. I also included an schematic of the interior layout of the pavillion. I also created some interior visualisations (because the course was about a complete functional building). I can post them if you like.

You can also see more impressions of the design and also the steps of the design proces at this website http://members.home.nl/m.obbens/7m690/

(Creating an webpresentation of the design was also part of the course)

The render is good and it looks like you considered the site when designing. But you need to show us the view that faces the sun. So far, we have only seen views that do not face the sun.

It would be a shame to design something on a site that gets such nice sunlight, and not use sun angles to determine plans and elevations.
