Hi!

Wow, this is my first post at CGTalk, fun. :)
Anyway, my name is Derek Mounce. I use
Blender, mainly, and Photoshop. I am 15, and
live in the US. I work at the local tv station doing
animation. (crappy stuff, because they ony give me
a few hours per animation...)

Anyway, on to the reason that I posted this in
the wip forum... I have been working on this
for about a week, on and off. (when I get time)

I would really appreciate any and all comment/adivce.

there is room to improve.. right now it doesnt look like can fly..

Thanks for the reply, I really
appreciate it.

I have only before posted my
images on elysiun.com, the
Blender community. While they
are all very nice there, they are
rarely honest about wips, etc.

It is nice to get an honest opinion
on this project.

So, you don't much like the design...
How about the CG element of it?
(how realistic, etc.)

It is far from finished. I still need to
texture the rest of the ship, and most
definitely work on the engine flame...
(particles and flares really suck in Blender)

Again, thank you very much for the opinion.

I am not sure if I am going
to use it as the main ship...

I actually do kinda agree with
what was said about the ship
not looking quite like it can fly...

Oh well. I have only been serious
about 3D for a few months anyway...
I have tinkered with it before, but
nothing serious.

is it ment as low poly ?

if its ment to fly => give it somekinda landinggear and some trusthers

i don't think it could stand on the ground either without falling
