This is just a silly old man modeled for animation purposes.
It contains 729 combinations of expressions and phonemes.
Body is under development now.
Lights is not fully set yet....sorry.

Thank you in advance for your comments.

really nice. Is he related to jerry? Whats his story??

No, old man is not related to Jerry in any way because he will be animated for TV Serie in Central Europe.
His concept is to be a support role, not a main caracter in this animation. Concept of each episode is to be about politics and to tell the story in humorous way.
I saw that error on glasses and I was thinking to leave it because I like that "cartoon" look in this concept.
Here, you can see Jacques Shirac who will be one of the main caracter in the animation.
Thank you all for your comments.

great char... only complaint would be the skin texture... it looks a bit shiny and clean for a man that age... add some skin discoloration

I agree about skin texture, but keep in mind that this character is made for animated serie purposes only and that I must find balance between quality and deadline (7-9 days for: modeling, texturing, minimum of 27 blend shapes and body setup).Because we must create many characters in that deadline I thing that photorealism is not an issue here.
Thanks for that comment by all means.

Yeah its always difficult when you have to work in a short time frame, when people crit work I think they can forget about the limits time puts on projects. I think you have done a fantastic job here, for 7-9 days work its very well accomplished. Good stuff!
