video567 05-10-2003, 06:07 AM hi all i have a problem with scaling and recording key frames. i have a few laters that i have on the animation . i have an arrow that moves to a letter when the arrow points to the letter i want the arrow to enlarge so i used scale to about 50 % bigger then the letter moves to another place. the arrow moves to anothe letter and the other letter gets scled to 50% etc etc but when i pla it on the machine the letters dont scle ilke i want them to or at all. can someone show me how to do this on cinema ? please help me

switch from model tool to object tool if you want to use scaling in animation.

thanks for the info i have tryed that before but when i move my timeline back to zero the letteres stay big not at regular size. i cant figure it out. it sucks cause m on the demo and im trying to convince someone to buy this program. help please

what are you scaling? Polygonal geometry? Splines? The NURBSextrude?
I did the following:
(a) put text-primitive spline in extrudeNURBS
(b) select spline on frame A, and record the scale in Object mode
(c) record the scale on frame B
Banzaï, you have your animation. Use the f-curve manager to tweak.
