View Full Version : Coming Soon To DSF: Stain Glass Window

I have in mind something...after we do ONUTS 2.0


I was thinking that it would be cool if we do some virtual stain glass windows.
We would use the same process developed for the ONUTS.This means I would:


Post a TEMPLATE of the window frame.
The artists would paint their very own stain glass painting
And I would render it in 3d...

Would it have to be a window frame from our house, specifically? Cause mine is kind of boring.http://forums.cgsociety.org/images/icons/icon11.gif

Roberto's going to post a template, carlg. No it won't be your own window. It'll probably be an arched window like the pic he posted.

OK we will go live sometime after ONUTS2.0 (as soon as I finish the 3d scene)


The window I will model will be a traditional church like stain glass window.
And it will probably have at least 3 window panes... (similar to the photo example I included)
You will need to submit 2 images this time. The BW OUTLINE of the stain glass painting and the Colored stain Glass Window. I need this for the bump maps of the object.
Anyway, keep the comments flowing (I am reading them).
