Hello,

being a bit away from the forums ...too much work..

I finally did upgrade our Messiah Workstation license to v3...
i didnt think much ... it is not too expensive..
i also upgraded the license to support unlimited render nodes

but i dont get it ...in Messiah 2.5b i did have multicore support and in Messiah 3 i dont?
so i actually render faster in the older Messiah version?

it doesnt make me very happy as i need to pay an extra $149

There was support for 4 cores in 2.5. Now the "base" version of the program supports 2. Your right. In terms of 3 now beeing slower. . . that depends greatly on the scene. With the new GI noise reduction, 3 is actually much faster than 2.5 ever was. So its kind of a win win no matter which way you go.

yeah i suppose so...
i just didnt realize it at first ..
I did the 64bit and multicore upgrade ...
any ideas about the unlimited render nodes?
will we have any issues with our 8core boxes

Jamtoons, we did use multicores and unlimited render.exe on 8core macs. Performance is great.
You should not have any issues once you have the reder.exe installed and used properly.
