View Full Version : 3d Portret - Black Man
Hi all! This image was done in Maya. I used NURBS for shape modeling and then Poligons to finish the model. Textures are done in Photoshop, hair - Paint Effect in Maya.

Texturing is excellent! Lighting is good too, how it illuminates his face. Great work, Irina!
Thank you, faithrenee! So nice of you!

ICY, I love it!
If you have any facial morph's setup, give him some different expressions. Make him smile, look excited, frown, look surprised, sad, etc.

Niiiice one. The skin and especially the rasta hair is amazing. Really, give him some facial expressions!
Just a question: i know that the anatomy of black people differs from white people, and that their noses usually are wider (michael jackson was too, a long time ago), but on your image its really very wide, and the wholes to big. I mean, there probably are people with noses like that, but it doesnt fit to your character ;)

Awesome work. He has a lot of character - not like all the stereotype faces you see in 3d. Keep his nose that wide.
Excellent skin shading too - could you share some hints?
And can we get some more angles in a higher resolution?
I think thisone is looking pretty sweet! Nice modelling, nice textures, can we see a wireframe?
