View Full Version : nVidia stocks soar as new chip is unvealed!

For all you hardware junkies out there:
nVidia will anounce it's newest chip next week called NV35. They expect revenues to soar next quarter. Here's the article:

Anyone know any cool stats on this new chip?

Well, "soar" is a relative term isn't it? Their revenues have been mediocre because they really didn't have a mass market product this past quarter. They were mostly coasting on old hardware. Now they are going to introduce something new that might actually be a good product, of course revenues should increase.

I don't follow hardware but my understanding is that the NV35 is their replacement for the NV30. The only stat I've seen is "10-20 Percent faster than the Radeon 9800".

Yes, it is realative.
But, their stocks went up 5.11points today alone!
That is HUGE in the stock market.
Anyways....
Is this new chip better than the one in the nVidia Quadro FX2000?
I hope the current cards with nVidia chips will be cheaper now.:beer:
