paulinsanpedro 03-29-2008, 06:15 AM Hi Everyone,
My first challenge. It is still the March 28th (10 pm pacific time) here in California so I hope I still get in! For some reason the posting rules at the bottom of my message page say I may not post attatchments. Hope to get that cleared up.
My idea is what if the barbarians never conquered the Romans. What if Rome did not fall and its culture grew ever wider and pervasive. Still working on my concepts. Will post soon.
thanks,
Paul

thanks,
Paul

Hmm, not quite sure where you mean, when you hit reply it usually gives an option to manage attahements which allows you to an image.
Alternatively you use a photo 'bucket' website that allows you to upload and link to these pics from the post. Though i've never used one myself so cant really recommend one.
Yeh, try replying and hit the manage attachements, see if that works.
EDIT: oh i see, to the bottom left? hmm, mine says you may post attachments. I wonder if this is is an option for CGsociety members only, not too sure. Yeh try the photo site option, i just did a quick google search on 'store share photos' and quite a few came up such as photobox.
Dave.

Really cool so far, and as someone with life drawing/animation studies, the gesture form on the right is really nice. ;)

hey paul,
looks really interesting so far! the perspective of the building on the left is a bit off though.
good to see some old age themed work here btw :D
Btw: I assume that you couldnt post any attachments before because you need to have a minimum of two posts for that afaik.

thanks chris...I will definately work on the perspective.
Hey Ryan...thanks for the comments, I have been taking life drawing classes here in LA for some time from Glenn Vilppu. great teacher. Still alot to learn!
here is my second concept sketch. I like the idea but the composition looks VERY plain. I am going to try adding something to the foreground but any ideas from anyone would be appreciated...and if you feel like drawing over mine that would be great also.
thanks,
paul
