View Full Version : Fog, dust and volume light: how compose? newbie

Hi guy,

i'm new in this world (compositing) . I search tutorials, video, book etc... that explaing how create and compose fog, volume light etc.. in my architecture rendering. Some info: I use After effect and 3ds max. :)

Can you hel me? I don't know... some links, tutorial etc...

what I do is render the volume light with all object's material set to pure black (just to cast shadow) and composite it with screen blending mode in post-editing software.

I think the same applied to dust and fog, go with a black background and I think they should work with the "screen" mode. Hope this help.
