I just finished working on a 26 minute long animated pilot and wanted to share some of the many lessons learned. The pilot was completed in 8 months and has over 470 different shots. (I will be releasing it to my website on 3/30).

I am planning to share these lessons learned by creating a serious of online tutorials. Since I am in the mindset of pilots, I created a sample tutorial to see what you guys think. I would appreciate any constructive feedback.

Here is a link to the sample tutorial: http://www.veryverysmallstudios.com/Tutorials.html

This tutorial shows how to use particle flow to blow out the side of a skyscraper. It is very basic but does cover creating an emitter object along with a collision object to control the explosion.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I did not get any alerts about the site being down and my site traffic report looks good. The testing has only been local (California) - so maybe there is an issue with international traffic. The main files are large too - > 100 meg.

I double checked and all the links work. I do have some outside links to youtube and google video.

It has only been tested on Windows XP and Apple OS 10 (inlcuded IE, Firefox and Safari).

Any more details would be great. Thanks again.
