It has started. Is this a good thing or way to let Microsoft take full control over our computers?

I don't see how it can be called "Personal"Computer anymore? Anyone who wants to share some thoughts on the subject? :)

yeah i think it has a bad taste on it....i simply like to control my pc more than win allows me....so i'm still using w2k ....wishing back old ms-dos 6.0...and hell yeah don't ever want to plant a bug into my pc for something wich is truly worthless in my regards of using it....looks like they want to overtake control and rule at least the internet with this system....and the damn smartest thing with this is thet they don't even attempt to do it with some virus/horse wich would be imho nearly easily be possible ...no they do it legally ;(

I have read that these features will be a standard on the next version of Windows. It will probably mean a lock down on mp3's etc.

I've just thought that since Apple have done so well with selling music online Microsoft could implement a copyright filling system preventing you from playing downloaded mp3's that have not been purchased. M$ could corner the mp3 market in a big way. <- Just a thought.
