Title: Ando - Church on the water
Name: karuna karan
Country: India
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, VRay
I tried to recreate the original interior scene of the famousTadao Ando's - Church on the Water, which is an evening shot at sunset.
Used 3dsmax and vray for rendering and photoshop for the background. There was a total of two vray lights in the scene to get reflection in the wall and the floor.
Hope you guys like it. comments and critics welcome.

Great!!! A really nice atmosphere and the textures you used are also very nice. Could you tell where you have the wall and floow texture from? Did you make it by yourself or used someones?
It is matching the reference image almost perfectly. Great work :)

It looks like one from the arroway concrete collection.
The quality is high tonight! I've just commented on the realism of rejm's render.
Great work on the textures and lighting.

Nice atmosphere. If realism was the goal however, I would change the background. The river and the trees look like a painting. Otherwise, nice effect from such a simple scene. :)

Really beautiful work. Your attention to detail in the surfacing is fantastic as is the lighting and overall mood of the piece.
Looking forward to seeing more.

Love the amount of Christian work coming through at the moment.
And this piece is beautiful! Love it! Keep it up!
Thank you for the source...asked because those textures are great and i am looking for some nice stone floor textures for my new interior scene :)
The reflection on the floor is coming through only party which really looks realistic. Did you use a reflection mask for that?

For the floor i used a reflection map on glossiness field. So thats why i got variation in highlights. Thanks.
