View Full Version : Transparency in Viewport

I've always had a small Problem wit smax and because of a recent Project it became QUITE the Burden for me. Maybe some people could help me out a bit.

I don't see texture transparency in the Viewports. I configured a material properly. Put a 32 bit TGA in the Diffuse and Opacity slot. I can see the diffuse Texture but I just don't get the alpha. Still, it works when I render it. Funny thing is that I can set the WHOLE object to be transparent (by reducing the overall opacity) and it works well. It just doesn't work if I want to conrol the opacity with a texture :-(

I always thought it was because of my bad Graphic Card so I bought myself a GForce4.. Still, it doesn't work. Maybe somebody had the same problem and found a solution :-(

I'm sorry, I'm such an Idiot. I alway toggled the 'show map in vieport' button for the textures slots but not for the whole material *doh*:banghead:
