Hello everybody.

I made this little shot (part of an animated sequence) and I am looking for input.
I wanted to go for a cartoon-like drop (that's why the legs take a little longer to fall) but it's just that I keep thinking there is *something* wrong with it.

Input is apreciated :bounce:

Hope you don't mind. I hate viewing videos thru my browser.

It's good, though a bit symetrical. Mix it up a bit.

He's way too stiff. You really need to loosen him up. Also the stop is a bit sudden. Inertia would drag him a bit more on the impact.

Yeah, I don't like the way the legs move together. try keeping one leg in a stiffer arc, or bending one knee.... something/anything to break the symetry.

Also it needs just a little bit of smoothing out.

but it generally looks good. Definately in the right direction.

It's a good beginning, but try to animate all the members, foots, hands, fingers, with a delay.

there is no pop, when he hits its just there.
take a rag doll or something and throw it at the same direction and see what happens.
that or look at car crashes.
everything is stiff. no dragging or skidding on impact.
you should try storyboarding it to see what result you really want.

"whatup" :rolleyes:

I've loosen the animation a little and added a little more "limb-bending".
What do you think

Hello.

I've made (even) more changes. Now the character bounces and slides. The limbs and head have been loosen also.
