Nice progress with modelling. the creature looks especially well even at this early stage of development. And congrats on your gal character. You've done really great work with just few polys :applause:

And about mixing 2d/3d categories: well, it works for me and I think it probably does the same for majority of us here at CGS. The time has come to make superb illustrations, pictures rather than models, textures, matte paintings. Just my thought...

*edit* I have to apoligize about just stumbling on this thread now..

I agree with the critique about the detailing of the background..and perhaps the answer would have been to really beef the detail of the creatures' metallic bridle. There could also be a little play on some unrealistic lighting highlights for your character hehe, just to enhance her to perhaps support your story line a lil more..The image is absolutely fantastic, regardless. a technical marvel to look at, i really like the type of environment you have created..Always wanted to explore realms in rpgs like this..Kinda reminds me of a 3d Mark from a few years back.
