Hi All:
I am just now learning to use Bodypaint 3D in conjunction with MAYA. So far I really like it, but here's three quick questions:
1. How do I get better rotational control in a perspective view? It rotates with the alt key, like in MAYA but does the exact opposite with a lot less control. Is there a way to get it to function better?
2. Is there a way to isolate the painting by polygonal faces? I was projection painting, but really wanted to just select certain faces. The marque tool was ok, but is there a way to get actual groups of faces?
3. When projection painting from a predetermined tilable file, I get some paint down, click the green arrow to keep that strok and then move the model to paint new strokes, but the projection changes and I get seam problems. How can I avoid this? How can I get the seams to match up? Is there a way to paint a surface with more control? (ok there were three question in this one... but it's all related.)
Thanks in advance. I'd appreciate any and all input.
