Hi folks,
I found some time to start the challenge, here's the concept for my first alian creature 'Saberoo'
I'm going for a semi-realistic cartoon style, and will be constructing most of the image in 3d
mdavid

That's a great looking critter. I'm looking forward to seeing you flesh it out in 3D

Here's the beginnings of the Sabaroo saddle, kind of inspired by the old Chopper pushbike. I was going to go for the mod scooter style with loads of mirrors, but i think two is enough. A kind of cartoon Mad Max look is what i'm after. Thanks for looking.

That's a beautiful piece of character design. Well done. The skin between its left lip and the nose currently looks a bit shiny/smooth and could perhaps benefit with a bit of post work to suggest a bit more fur texture or something, but I have no doubt you'll perform some magic before it's finished.
