So... I know I'm running way behind here, but I dont think I'm out of the race yet.
Ditched my old design for many reasons, mainly couldn't get it to go anywhere I liked. The problem I'm seeing with many entries is that they dont capture the essence of a hero character. They are all really really REALLY good, but they all seem to me to be great enemy bosses or great supporting characters, but no main "save the world" heros. Based off that premise I am attempting to capture that in this character. I thought, what makes a character seem heroic. As humans, we see ourselves as heros. So I wanted to make a human looking character. Something with a reason to fight. Enter Cyllic.
She is a minor diety cast out of the overworld (better name coming soon). Her wings were cut off as punishment for (enter attrocities here). Wanting nothing more than to get back to her former status, she is trying to atone for her past. Cyllic made a deal with her master that if she succeeded in this endevor, her wings would be healed and she would regain her status of a demi god.
Its a quick background (and not very well written) but I think you get the idea. Attached are the progressions of concepts from a young girl as my first idea, to the rather tall and lanky woman like character at the end of the concept phase.
