Incredible job, I think it looks even better. Putting up the wireframe version composited over the final version is a pretty neat idea, very cool. Great job on using the scholarship time well! Absolutly awsome.

R.L.M-ya it's a hidden line removal in xsi with anti-aliasing cranked. no special shaders:drool:

That's a really nice piece, Brian. How did you do all of the creatures? Were they all hand animated or did you use a flocking system?

ceql-that's so cool! what university is it you attend? woodwoox-thanks bro! neonoodle-all the creatures were hand animated and no scripts or flocking systems were used. xsi can handle a lot of them! ;)

Dude, I crapped my pants back when you posted a WIP wire of this a long time ago and to see this rendered out it SO AWESOME! I love it. My only gripe is that its so dark, it hides a lot of your beautiful detail. Also, I noticed in this version that when the lady walks in she like, drops or throws her bag and the male char looks back at it, I don't remember that being in the original WIP and I don't really like that shot too much, felt it lessened the tension. Totally awesome though, especially the last shot with the blood, the texturing in that shot was lightyears above the rest of the piece and really stood out awesomely.

Oh, and crapping my pants is an expression I reserve for the likes of Gollum and Matrix, so thats high praise indeed! :)

felipe-thanks man, 37 had a lot of push from 38. good luck in scholarship, your reel is already amazing! i'll get a wire up of that monster for ya! ceql-indeed that is very cool, and nice mech girl! wicked. Taoizm-thanks a lot. chenling(no my name is eva)-my biggest fan!? haha.:D WhiteRabbit.obj-i really appreciate your crit, and yes i agree it still seems a bit too dark. i changed a lot of the lighting and tried to increase the overall ambiance while still maintaining the dark feel. the wire version should help anyone looking to offer me work:cool: we'll see!

wow! i really like it. it has very good expressions in the animations. i really like his run.could use some work on the face i think, but body motions are cool. and also...man it are so many, and the whole thing is not short. how long did you work on it?

very very cool animation.

cheers

This is nuts...I was just watching an old term 4 anamatic presentation of this on the VFS servers today. I've always loved your reel, I saw it when you first released the wire captures.

Are you employed?

I liked it a lot the music fit the film rather well. It was also very dark indeed and very creepy.

3d Realms? Awesome man. I remember seeing your reel online and tossed it around at Relic while I was there. Way to go landing the job!
