View Full Version : Multi Texture problem(pic included)

This is my first attempt at texturing a background and I am having some problems with the textures rendering out in Maya 4.5. I used a multitexture shader node and have the grass as the base texture and the mountain dirt above it with an alpha channel. When I do a final render on the scene, the grass comes out good but the Mountain dirt renders real low rez and muddy. Does anyone have an idea as to what may be the problem and a solution for it. Thanks for helping me out, a brother really appreciates it!:D

Is the dirt texture a bitmap? Check to make usre the filter setting for it is not set to 1 or higher..it should be much less like .1
