How to create this effect in this advt?

i would guess that was made in after effects using the trapcode filter

Here’s something I played around with in PS. I drew tapering lines with the airbrush tool, gaussian blurred them then used Filter/Other/Maximum. You have to copy and repeat the steps tweaking it to get it right using effects, layer modes and experimentation. I’ll do a more controlled one when I get time.
