a part of commercial project... i use photoshop .
with wacom graphire a5.
its about old american cars and science fiction...
basic tools used such brush and blur etc.

Nice job,
But I think that you have to concentrate more on details. Also you can try to use the light and shadows more effective and braver and try to get some contrasts too. This way you can separate the background from the red vehicle and get better result.
