Title: The Tower Of Babel (concept)
Name: Seif Sherif
Country: Canada
Software: Photoshop

Just wanted to explore what an industrial version of the Tower of Babel would look like if it was built in the future.
The construction is about reaching for the sky, and it's surrounded by machines that look in the sky as well as listen to the cosmos in search of a God.
C&C welcome, let me know how i can improve the concept, thanks.

Lookin good, you have some nice atmospherics going on in the rear depth around the tower. You might want to try doing the text on the front welcome sign using the software text tools, as the handwritten sign is slightly distracting. Doing that and sharpening/adding some volume to the foreground machines should hopefully prove pretty helpful in expanding your picture.

Ahoy!

i think the idea of the machines leaning toward the sky is very interesting! My opinions for now is that its abit too planar in terms of the structures. I think abit of work on the perspective and a better understanding of light will make his piece very cool (=

thank you all very much for the helpful suggestions, i agree with all of them, i went out after painting this and took some reference pictures of skyscrapers in my city, also this piece is more imaginitive of what BABEL would look like had it been built in the future, a more realistic version would be more demanding and I'm definetley going to try it soon.

Thanks again :)
