I'm graduating in June this year and wanted to get my demo reel done as soon as I could, so here's what I have so far. I still have 2-3 more clips I want to add that I'm working on. Let me know of any improvements.

looking pretty solid....

love all the subtle stuff going on, your acting choices are generally pretty good and its a nice change from all the over the top animation thats going around at the moment.

only thing i could add would be to maybe spend a little more time on ure facial work as that doesnt look as finished as the rest.

good work

Thanks for the input, I'll certainly go back over the facial animation in those shots.

much appreciated!

There's some good stuff there. I think the reel would benefit from a mix of more action less talk.

I agree!! The last 2 clips I'm adding to it are just pantomime. I felt like I had too many dialogue shots.

Thanks for the feedback!

I like the reel. I think more facial expressiveness would be a good thing for most of the clips, especially the “detention” piece. To me, it looks like the “detention” bit is the weakest piece in the reel, while I really liked the nuanced animation on the “finders keepers” piece.

I do like your realistic animation style, versus the prevalent cartoony stuff.

Best of luck :D

Thanks a lot, I appreciate it. I may consider taking the detention clip out. It's from a short I started around 6 months ago and honestly I've grown tired of it. I agree, it does seem to be the weakest piece, I may put something else in it's place since I've progressed a lot since I did that shot.

Also, thanks on the comment about my animation style, I try to mix it up a little.

thanks
