let's say i make a "fit to object" for the texture, than i see that after resizing a shader (i need to resize to make the bump/alpha match my desires) the texture planes moves a side.
Now, what if i want to center the map on a face of the object? the center function works only between object.

try using the texture axis and texture tools.

they are the checkerboard things just under polys mode.

not much clear said in this word.

i know how to use the texture tool, but in which way should i use the axis texture tool?

Mars,
As JIII suggests - use the 'Texture Axis' (TA) tool rather than the 'Texture' tool.

If you fit to object, then scale with the Texture Axis tool, you'll find it will scale from the centre point - so it will remain centered on your object.

Even if it had moved, using this tool the normal co-ordinates palette is relevant - you could just enter and X=0, Y=0 object position in the co-ordinates palette to re-centre the texture on the object.
