gnomon has the best videos money can buy for maya. unfortunately... they cost a lot of money! the a|w vidz are expensive as well, but they're hit or miss. they're either great or awful. and you have about a 50/50 chance of which you get stuck with. some other great resources to check out are www.3d-palace.com and www.3dbuzz.com which both have really nice tutorial videos and best of all they're completely free. if you need more advanced things like dynamics then gnomon is probably your best bet. for scripting theres a book on mel scripting that is supposed to be absolutely superb! unfortunately i haven't been able to take a look at it yet so i'm just going off of hear say. the author posts quite frequently in these forums though. can't think of the name of the book off the top of my head but a google search should find it easily enough. also, when you run into a snag, these very forums are a great place to ask questions. but it would seem you already knew that seeing as you already posted a question on them and all ;)
