View Full Version : Undoing Bind Pose

Hey all,

I have a character that I had put a Rigid bind on. Later I had to redo some of the geometry on my mesh, so I deleted the history of my mesh. When I go to do a Rigid bind again. It won't let me, it says "Error: Skin on joint joint39 was bound at a different pose."

How do I get rid of this.

I need to know, ASAP. I'd appreciate any help.

Well, I half ass fixed it, for the time being. What I did will probably come back to haunt me when I animate, but for now an answer isn't as urgent.

In the future though, I would like to know how to get rid of a joints bind pose. I did everything the help files said, but they didn't help.

select a joint in the hypergraph and hit input and output connections. select the bindpose and delete it. you can also reset the bind pose using the dagPose command (check the MEL Commands reference for details).
