This was my initial sketch, an alien in a human nail studio.

Here i tried to refine things in corel painter. The surrouding will be a garage shop.

I started modelling the head in XSI today

Hi,

It's a good concept, but i think that your scene is a little bit passive.

All actions are combined in one point, the alien's nail.

Go modeling, i want see more !

Great modelling:) You manage to put good expressions on your characters. The situation is a bit passive, but that's not a problem. You just have to "make the scene" with proper colors, lighting and scenery. Good luck :)

Some texturing on the alien and scene lighting. I am totally new to lighting, i wonder if i will still like it tomorrow :)

Quality stuff here Ivo, its begging to be animated. I would suggest too keep going with the background and maybe add some details like shoe laces and pockets for the mans outfit and the biker vest. waiting your updates..

Haha,, cool idea. Funny really. It's nice that the place is not so fashion, it's an hard working atelier. It seems, servicing to those creatures is not an easy work. -- The picture has a nice effect but it looks a little empty. There were be some equipment at the floor maybe close to us but taking less light. Environment may be richer i'm saying. It's nice to watch it anyway. Good job.:thumbsup:
