need help finding a plugin that exports 3ds files to obj. im working on max 5 right know.

if been looking but cant find anything

Google turned up nothing, but a search of this forum turned up a similar post with a link to an exporter. Here's the thread, the link is in here:

I've been having to convert files between MAX and Maya for work, and the plugins I use are on this page:

MAX2OBJ and OBJ2MAX. They both seem to work pretty flawlessly for me.

i tryed that plugin and it worked fine for the actual model,
but it seems to have lost the uv coordinates when i imported to maya.

how can i get the uvs along with the model imported.
