the idea behind this came from resident evil. im not done yet will add light fixtures maybe some pictures on the wall, and possibly a staircase in the background.

im having problem with my meshes when i add textures as you can see in pic 3 it is totally messed up. i did half of the hall then dupped it. then combined them. i tried to delete one half again to maybe get rid of some faces, and extra edges, but for some reason, my meshes still acted as if they are mirrored. any suggestions on how i could fix this? i dont want to go back and redo alot of this over :(

It looks like when you mirrored it you flipped the normals on the mirrored side. Trying flipping them the other way and see if that works.

of course that will not be the final lighting set up, was just a quick set up using mental ray and FG. :) any suggestions would be great, thanks.

Add some chairs or a sofa(chais lounge) type thingy. and put a carpest or rug down. maybe some more wall lights, etc. etc. Basically just keep adding more clutter. Modelling is looking good though. keep up the good work:thumbsup:
