I thought it was about time that there was an IRC chat specificly for Cinema4D, so I started one, if anyone's interested the details are as follows:
Server: irc.freenode.net
Channel: ##Cinema4D (Note that you MUST join ##Cinema4D with two "#" symbols, not one)
Port: 6667
I don't know if this will help at all, but perhaps it could help people exchange information?
If you don't have an IRC client you can down one of the most popular ones here:
mIRC (http://www.mirc.com/) - Windows
xChat (http://www.xchat.org/) - Windows
Colloquy (http://colloquy.info/) - Mac
Lower quality chat (http://www.aspergercolony.com/C4D/irc.html)
The lower quality chat is a java based IRC client, which makes it usable on virtually any OS that supports Java, which includes but is not limited to Windows, Mac, Linux and Solaris. It's called a "Low Quality Chat" because it doesn't have as many features as the downloadable applications do.
Just a note to Opera users, that Opera has a built in IRC client, our chat can be accessed with opera by clicking "Chat (irc.freenode.net:).
I'll be around there, if there really isn't any activity in a couple days I'll de-register the channel, but maybe someone can make use of it. :)
