Latest Update: Final Image: Contact
Technology has finally evolved to allow human to integrate fully functional machine parts to their body. Majority have undergone surgical upgrades to replace their body parts with the machine to better mobilize and to be highly functional.
However, due to the massive artificial replacements, humanity has diminished long ago.
By the time we have made the first contact with the alien, the Aliens find themselves last remaining humane living being.

Nice to see some familiar faces here! Great to have you on board, friend!
Let the fun begin!

here's my very first concept. "contact"
I mean to depict a transcendental moment one would experience. when first contacted by the alien.
You can find the concept drawing below. it's very rough but you get the idea.
thanks for looking!

A romantic concept, yeah!
You got me interested!
Hehe, mine is a twisted romantic, so I guess I will keep looking here for inspiration!

Hot looking girl and very good body modeling!
Time for a new update Seail!
Can't wait to see the textures!
05-07-2008, 07:22 PM
I will- update mine maybe tonight or tomorrow.
I'm working on girl's hair.. trying different hairs- putting 3d hair or geometries.
I think i'm gearing towards modeling the hair hopefully if I have the time..that is..I'm not a very good hair stylist though. :p
05-08-2008, 01:02 AM
Yeah, you are right! CG_hair can either make or break your entire character!
You really need to spend some quality time on that one!
Good luck, dude!

technology has finally evolved to allow human to have fully functional machine body parts.
majority of people are considered cyborgs. by the time we have made the first contact with the alien, human civilization have dramatically evolved that there's no longer a humanity.
rather it's the aliens that are humane.

Very cool design for the alien! Lots of sensuality in this concept!
I gather an extraordinary lighting setup will play the most important role in your scene!
Wish you all the best!

Nice materials and modelling! I'm curious bout how it will develop.
05-10-2008, 01:51 AM
hi! human materials and modelling is very good! keep it up hury up! only 3days!
05-11-2008, 04:57 AM
I realized i don't have enough time to finish this project if I want to make it in 3d. so I decided I will make it a 2D paint.
05-11-2008, 05:26 AM
It would be nice if we could have longer, wouldn't it? It is a shame image section is so limited on time, I think it really cuts down on the time a modeler would need to create a masterpiece.

hey thanks a lot.
I sort of ended up making this with 2D paint. (hair took a big part in making a decision)
I will make it a full 3D for the next competition.
Good luck and All the best!
yea.. I mean you could only have so much time I think.
