here are some action animations ive been working on.
1. sword attack, I think the step back is a little fast, but what do you think.
2. Parkour backflip, landing needs work.

I like the beginnings of both, but not the ends, lol. Lose the hop in the spartan at the end.. just ease him into his same pose. The rest works very well :D The backflip starts off good but his landing needs some love, as you said. Make him get down faster (not the drop, but when his feet touch the ground and knees start bending).. then go slower back up from there to his idle stance. Maybe take a step back? Iono, very close though. Good job!

Sweet! Great improvements! :thumbsup: My only critiques on the spartan are that his wholy body seems to move all at once, instead of hips leading and the rest overlapping (or arms leading, whichever looks better to you). Right now it's too uniform to be realistic. The timing is great, though! The other thing that looks awkward to me is that his cape moves too much. Adding a bit of delay when it whips to screen right (second whip around) would look more natural.. even making the pose a bit less extreme would helpt it (cape goes too far out). It's really just a fine tuning thing, so you don't have to change that if you don't feel like it, lol.
I love the new roll landing! It's way more fluid, and the timing is awesome.. UNTIL!!!-- he stands up. It seems like he gets out of his flow. I think the main thing throwing it off is the rotation of his upper body. Make sure it's rotated down as he's still getting up, then goes back (screen right) at the end. Right now it's going back and forth which makes it look like the root isn't moving smoothly, even though it is. Anyway, keep it up :D nice work!
