03-20-2008, 12:21 PM
It is already be a -picasso style- poster man!
wondering about aliens 1
03-21-2008, 02:35 PM
Cool alien design, that first image is great, great mix of the old and future. Keep up the good work
one more alien 3d concept....
still wondering about the image ...
03-29-2008, 04:12 PM
It looks great.
Witch software you're useing?
Hi everyone.... Looks like this challenge proceed very well.I mean...a lot of very nice stuff has been posted till now. Many ideas...many styles....a lot of fun for everyone!:)
Now...Im still on considering some ideas for my image, still wondering about what "meaning and mood" I will have to work on.
meanwhile Im on quick sketching aliens to visualize a possible "UPLIFT LIKE" world.
Time to write to you guys!!
To Vedic-kings:TNX! hope to see you here again!
to KU2GUN: HE HE HE yeah....an "ALIEN PICASSO" maybe?
to nmcelmury: WOW..you hit the point.....im just on the render style of the world. Im from 70's so I love that kind of classic,if not, grotesque visions of alien and alien worlds..so..I try to mix the modern style and cgi techniques with the classic airbrush art of my very young age.
to DonRallo: 3dsMAX!!! semper fidelis!! :scream:
03-31-2008, 11:51 AM
Hey there! Nice alien design! You can use both ^^
This is the spider like alien 2d colour test.
Im doing a number of pencil concepts about possible alien races...and some colour tests on PC.
Tonight Ill post a couple of scans.
A bit more deailed concept....
this is the firs alien creature that im sure to include in the final image.
03-31-2008, 05:31 PM
still full of fun ideas I see.
I can't wait to see where you take this one.
03-31-2008, 05:46 PM
Great design man. It's a bit phallic, but everything in nature has some phallic shape to it. Keep up the good work!
03-31-2008, 05:54 PM
nice to see you back oz cool ideas ill be watching out for more.
An uplifted human...
04-01-2008, 10:27 AM
nice gallery of alien your robot is missing ?
Another uplifted human...
Well....now some uplifted terrestrial animals.
So the scene is ready on my mind.
Nothing original.But...i putted myself in a world of sentient animals ad odd shaped aliens...and at first contact the only thing i may feel...is...."WOW..that's awesome!"...so..
WHat best scene to place a human in a space bazar in and orbital base downtown?
pLEase ...feel free to kill this idea or better...not! ^_^
04-02-2008, 07:18 PM
really like this one.. very original... go ahead on this kind of concept... well... emm.. if you want ;)
04-03-2008, 10:07 AM
I really like the escene of the lady kinda shopping in "little Mars" . the more mundane the nicest it gets!
wish to see more !
Very first 3d model.
The "Amoodian" alien creature is an exraterrestrial animal uplift.Looks like that this kind of new race is very skillend in interchanges and businnes.
Here a first texture pass... im not satisfied about this colour set.The textures hide too much the shape of the creature...mmmh...still to work on.
04-03-2008, 04:33 PM
So many concepts! I do like the last one, especially that mouth! The scene you drew looks good too, nice busy space market. will everything be in 3d or 2d or are you going to use elements of both? I know nothing about 3d.
04-03-2008, 05:23 PM
i like the last guy very much.
04-03-2008, 05:37 PM
Very nice design on that alien head. If all your scene its going to be at this level i think the award is yours.
The alien head rendering is superb, I will have to keep an eye on you and see how this develops!
04-03-2008, 07:38 PM
OZ wat to go.
I really like that guy. I an curious to see a body and more characters
Really cool character, man!
Very original design might I add. Love to see the body on this guy as well.
did u remember this guy? uplifted by 2d to 3d!! ^_^
Again tha "amodiquian" alien. A first skin and colour test...thare are a lot to do!
tnx 4 ur comments guys! im so glad u like this stuff...tumorrow i will take sometime to answer one by one. good night! (here in italy 2.00 AM just now!)
04-04-2008, 08:43 AM
hey OZ. I like your character design. But i thing your color scheme looked much better on the 2D concept. Maybe apply this colors to the 3D model? (just a suggestion)
04-04-2008, 11:01 AM
Beautiful head with nice colors I like your scene too .
OW..OW....OW.....monday morning kills me!....so...Tnx a lot to everyone posting here...ow....ow....owww
I love gorillas...i ever loved it!since the first king kong in 1930 or so.
Then...i decide to put in the scene a Roborilla...an uplifted primate.I imagine this kind of creature that works as bouncers or something like that. This is my very first gorilla model....hem...still a wip.
To Pegahoul:Glad u like it! :) have u a favourite alien here around in my thread?
to KOryH: OH U GREAT! i still remember ur splendid work for past challenges! Happy to see here! woah!!! that a lot to be done and very few time to do it! i hope not to disappoint u unfinishing this challenge.And..good luck for your!
to sasquatch70: Phallic? hu hu hu maybe! yes..i got 3 more unpresented aliens that have the same look!! OH Gosh! :D Tnx posting here!
to kobatune:TNX A LOT!..i apreciate a lot u say "interesting".
to Slav: you are the wellcome everytime! I like a lot ur entry in this challenge.so ..happy to see u here!
to scala:Thank for kind commends scala. Well.. mmh ..i have in mind to put few robots in the scene..but .. still im not satisfied by the design.Did u think that robot things may be considered as uplifted creatures? I fead to go off topic with them.
to stefgrafx: YEEAH! as u can see im on this guy!! I like it sssssooo much!
to chilombiano:!! OUCH! THe guy in yellow is a GUy!! hem.. ok im not a great concept designer.. BuT...you hit the point...because...im in deep dubt if put a guy or a girl in the scene...i have already done some concept about the girl "ssssexy"..but...i have some problem modeling her... mumble mumble...
more answer later... hem... forgive my pooor english m8tes...thx.
04-07-2008, 02:41 PM
i like the gorilla head ... keep it coming along
04-07-2008, 02:45 PM
definitely like the gorilla head man, you should definitely finish that dude up
04-08-2008, 01:48 AM
hey bro!! :p love the alien concepts! plus your latest update  i think for the earlier post with the alien head .. #27 .. once you start adding more GI and SSS .. you'll nail the look and feel pretty well! ;) good luck ma man! have fun! :p
04-10-2008, 08:27 AM
Good gorilla, I like your design ;)
Good luck !
04-10-2008, 07:20 PM
Hello Oz. Looks like you've been very productive. Thats the hardest part of this contest is finding the time. Everything looks and feels very cohesive at this point. Can't wait to see it all materialize. Awesome aliens, and your gorillas are mean as hell. Great work!
04-10-2008, 07:30 PM
I love those heads. specially the last one. keep up the good work!
Early model of the robot gorilla arm.Hope u like it.Massive uh?
Pose test for the upgore or roborilla (i like waste time finding names for my unfinished charecters...hem)...well..the model is only referential but makes me understand the potential of a character...
Now i have to refine the model and texture it.what did u think about this guy??
04-12-2008, 02:59 AM
These concepts are fantastic I especially love the model of the robot arms :)
04-12-2008, 03:14 AM
Damn, nice work OZ. That gorilla is great. very nice texture work on his arm. Keep it up! Should turn out to be a nice piece!
04-12-2008, 03:15 AM
kool idea with gorillaz now they will be strong and bullet proof. keep up the good work.
04-12-2008, 03:30 AM
It's now official...
I can't wait to see some environments!
04-12-2008, 05:29 AM
this is coming out really well dude! awesome texture work! :p
04-12-2008, 06:31 AM
Fabio it's getting better and better each time
04-12-2008, 10:13 AM
good work!! especially the the top (I am not entirely convinced by the junction of the torso with legs)
To Andy--Jones: Hi Andy! thx 4 ur comments!! and interesting qustions too.
Well...i plan to obtain an image that looks like a true classic illustration. so..im still thinking what to do in 2d and in 3d or if do everything in 3d and then retouch it.I have a lot of ideas..one less probable than the others...:D like apply decorative paper scans as texture for my characters....(i have too little sleep I fear!!and this ideas are the conseguences!!).Seriously..i point to a blend.
to jimmydog: HEY M8!! WE HAVE TO ENTER THE ANIMATION CHALLENGE!! so cool the ideas we talk about uh??
to odedios: OH MAN THANK U VERY MUCH!! Ill be happy if I finish the image...winning? a nice dream! :D Anyway...i agree with u about colours.Yes..u hit the point...the 2d painted colours works far more better that the 3d Counterpart. At last i think that i will map the 2d colours on the models...
to Pearlyking: TNX! TNX! TNX! i hope to do it better! what u have under ur eyes are only rendertests..but if u like it anyway, well,u make me happy!!
to Maph: OH thank u!! argh! making the bodyes is killing me!! sooo long!
TO scala: U are too kind ! tnx a lot! glad u like my stuff!
to nightwoodwolf:Oh man tnx.. ps: ur portfolio is great!
to nmcelmury: I hope so!! Ill be so happy if i finish this challenge.I got a family and businnes to follow..usually i have no time to finish the challenge.Well...ur comments helps a lot to encourage me to run till the end!!!
to nwiz25:AAAAARGH! i got a big problem with sss...i EVERYTIME have issues with shadows...bwaaa haaa haaaee:cry: ..someone may help me!!? But..tnx a lot! i appreciate a lot ur comments and im happy u like this stuff.HUGH! now i return to texturing work.
to pitiwazou:TNX! i like ur work too!
to sasquatch70: U ARE SOoo RIGHT!! more time needed.!! uaaah! tnx man...glad u post here
04-12-2008, 12:00 PM
Wow! great concept and model!
04-12-2008, 12:12 PM
Great progress Oz, i especialy like the green alian character.
A first scene analysis. almost no element in the scene is in it final form.Anyway take a look and please tell me what u think.
04-14-2008, 01:58 AM
( i'm ready man :buttrock: )
- Happy to see that the image is' taking body , i like much the gorilla.
Hey ! were you think to put the "first picasso style poster " ?
04-14-2008, 12:13 PM
Love your wicked alien design and the very powerful looking robogorilla, great modeling and texturing too. On the ideas about which way to go 3D, or 2D.. I don't think you can fail either way.
As for the scene, the more mundane shopping street of the concept was working a bit better for me than the new more epic view. The new scene is very grandiose but as you are doing such a good job with the aliens I hope you will keep them as a focus. Just my 2 cents.
04-14-2008, 04:16 PM
great concepts man, so many of them! also like that green alien and robogorilla model is very cool! oh and i must not forget the slugg : ))
New body work in progress...
04-14-2008, 07:45 PM
Nice progress OZ, i like this alian a lot.
04-14-2008, 08:52 PM
great modeling OZ. i like your alien. Good. good.
04-14-2008, 11:41 PM
Your concept/comp looks great. A nice mix of 2D 3D should get you where you want to go. Keep on truckin!
04-15-2008, 10:32 AM
I have made my mind up to continue on the "video category" on this challenge. Thus I gave up the "image category". I wish i have time to complete both but schedule is tough and time gets short. I pray and hope i can produce a good video here.. Let's see anyway.
Your "alien" seems original to me. Go on!
04-15-2008, 11:06 AM
Fabio it's always a pleasure to see your progress .I wish I could use 3D like you .
Just to give an idea of the mood i hope to put into the final image today i modeled a couple of buildings for the spaceport that works as background.
...so i did some tests on the lighting and colour palette...
04-15-2008, 04:36 PM
oh wow! great stuff!
04-15-2008, 05:16 PM
Wow I love your last image! Reminds me of some John Berkey :)
04-16-2008, 02:31 PM
that gorilla looks fantastic. watching your portfolio i now already im gonna get a Woaw soon . !
04-17-2008, 05:36 AM
The modelling is great - but the texturing is unbelievable!
04-17-2008, 06:24 AM
sorry I have not commented on your last few entries but im back now and I love your texture work and from what I can see most of it looks fairly low poly too, great job. Only thing I have to comment on is the scene with the alien and gorilla-bot. I think the scene looks alittle off with the size adjustment (the gorilla is to small or the alien is to tall, unless that is what you where going for (if so discard this)). Other then that you are doing great.
04-17-2008, 06:43 AM
Hey oz :D. Its been a while hasn't it? Maybe 4 years since we last challenged!? Well this one is looking as epic as ever man. Can't wait to see you peice all this together to form your imagination into view!
I'm really enjoying the development of your work here, the models look great and the texturing is excellent. I can't wait to see the end result.
Slug alien in progress....
04-18-2008, 03:16 PM
lol!! i love the last alien. You are pretty good at designing those. I shall expect to see a alien galary somewhere not far in the future.
04-18-2008, 06:08 PM
How come I never looked at your thread? So many ideas! Great aliens, even greater modeling - can't wait to see how you'll put it together :)
04-18-2008, 07:02 PM

04-19-2008, 02:55 PM
I realy like the slug character, excelent design.
04-19-2008, 05:20 PM
Your challenge page is truely an inspiring visual research. A great variety of character designs which all have their own personalities. I find your last model is the strongest one which kept a nice balance between volume and shape. Keep it up! :)
04-20-2008, 02:52 PM
So much beautiful art here, and so may fantastic designs...! Amazing thread indeed
TO JackZhang: AAAAH! AN alien gallery! he he cool idea..! mmh there are so many aliens that i designed but will be never modeled due to out of time matter!Hope u will like the 4 new i still have to post here.
To Ivy00 :TNX A LOT Linda! I like a your work too! Ur drawings are so much "magic filled".
to nmcelmury: ARGH! texturing kills me...im a bit slow doin'that...But im really glad to read that the overall stuff works well.Tnx 4 ur comments i really apreciate it!
to Cographicz: HEY! nice to see u here...u know?im craZed By YoUr Mushrooms!! texture 9 roks really!! i vote 4 that!..
to KOryH::bowdown: thank you.. Thank you... (too much 4 me)
to nwiz25 (the man with the RenderMAN) (render = render MANO in italian is "HAND" so...renderMANO...then...RenderMAN-o...and at last RenderMAN...the man with the render in the hand... Forgive me... i have 2 hours of sleep on my back today... he...HEheHEeEEh...skizoid!) :TNX MAN!! 4 ur support!..it helps a lot!
to scala: OH YOU MONSTER OF 2d! so happy u like my stuff!!
to lucar: TNX ...geee tnx! well...you are right...the junction is to be heavyer as a couple of detail here and there in the model. Is a bit difficult as a character to do...it make me struggle about different aspect of it...i dont want a perfect robot gorilla replica...but i MUST make it recognisable and credible. It is a challenge in the challege.
to lauranonce: TNX LAURA..glad u like this stuff...let me ask to u...where is Bagnacavallo? u did a very good work too (CGportfolio also).
TO handlebar: ooooH! someone huo loves the "LITTLE GREEN"...i like a lot too!Tnx 4 ur comments about this "still on the run" stuff! it Help a lot.
to jimmydog:HI M8! he he he...mmh... good idea to reuse it!...maybe as texture somewhere!
to Sleepyghost: YOU ARE RIGHT!! I have noticed the very same thing.SO..i re-designed the scene several times.Im currently at version 23.That is a blend between the two version that you can see posted here. I got a lot to do on it....difficul...very dfficult.
to SittingDucky: YEAH! as u can see somewhere the SLUG alien is under modeling!! Im near to close it!
to odedios: TNX MAN! HEY! ur portfolio is empty!! where to see your stuff??
to sasquatch70:WOW thx! yes! i hope so...i point on a blend between different media.Exciting but difficult.
to KU2GUN: ! ! ! COOL..! so u will be in video challenge? maybe we see soon! Tnx posting here..and...good luck!
Really Cool Stuff Man!!! I'm too happy to see you here Oscar! :wavey:
So the model is close to be completed.
just some little work on the head...and it is ready.
posed and textured...this is what you probably see in the final image.
04-21-2008, 04:36 PM
nice Alien design!
04-21-2008, 07:06 PM
Awesome slug :) Cool! Can't wait to see the whole composition :)
This is a very particular piece. The crilian character is a robot body that drive a spherical water can.
Into the can there is a colony of crilian creatures..that are an uplift of "Artemia salina" or sea monkey a crustacean rece from planet earth. The crilian works together as a single mind, but with Remarkable quick response and sense of organization.
04-22-2008, 05:58 PM
Fantastic imagination OZ, the idea for your last render is brilliant.
04-22-2008, 07:22 PM
I have to Agree :)
04-22-2008, 07:49 PM
Hey OZ - Very cool, and original gallery of creatures bud. Great work man.
04-24-2008, 04:39 PM
very nice texturing on the slug, absolutely amazing can you do me a favor and take a render shot of the head so i can see the texture alittle better. keep up the good work.
04-27-2008, 11:22 AM
Fabio the last one is Wonderfully strong . I've got an idea tell me , after the contest why don't you do a book that could be an Alien dictionnary . You've got enough idea for that and talent to do it .
04-27-2008, 10:16 PM
I really love your concept a lot ... especially the shape of the alien head.
04-28-2008, 12:57 AM
excellent character designs, will keep an eye on this one
really digging the helmet. great work on it!
For Cographicz: Here's the slug head render u asked.

Also the alien proportions.I will post a new composite in a couple of days...so...stay tuned and... comment it again.Need this! :wip:
to scala: SNIFF...SNIFF... bwaaaah...your post made me so happy that i cant do but cry!! Seriously...mmh.. the idea is cool:lightbulb ...but im not sure to have enought power to make a true book...mmh.Maybe..he he...a sort of making of or short guide to the "galaxy" i imagined for this challenge? it may be done...as a downloadable pdf. MMMmmm...are you talking seriously? in your opinion a book about alien race may be intereting for people?
It must be cool to do a booklet with all the best of this challenge!...anyway...ill'post a couple of possible page of this "maybe" book.
to Fetus23: WOW...a lot of time! I must say the same of you! the suit design in ur challenge is fantastic! so..keep it up! funny and exciting find old challenge friends!
to Pearlyking: Im close to present something...!! tnx a lot!
to JackZhang: TNX! aaah...mmh...following the suggestions of Scala,im seriously thinking to make a web page or a PDF about all the creature here.
To HornlessUnicorn: HERE WE ARE! I god time to finish!! and you can't imagine how im happy for this...Are years that i cant finish a challenge!!
to Ferx: TNX Ferx! im wondering if post more concepts just for viewing pleasure...what di u think?
to sasquatch70: Tnx Brad! i did a pre compsite last week...and is a big trouble, because a have to put in the same scene about 10 characters.. there is also a very dense background.

05-05-2008, 01:52 PM
The Galaxy guide is on the way . Of course I'm serious could be like a scientist book sketch and a 3 D Vision .
There are so many things to add that...boffffssshhhhrrzzzzzttt.....short circuit!! ^_^
Seriously...there are a lot details and objects to put in the scene..4 aliens and some mapping alredy do be done..as the roborilla one.
05-05-2008, 03:44 PM
Hi fabio ... fantastic work ... especially on this alien guy ... i love his anatomy flow :D
One critique i got for the guy in the suit ... he is looking a littlebit stiff at the moment.
But i think a littlebit more couterweight for the pose on his shoulder an hips and head could fix it ... so it looks more natural.
I also would try to keep the alien guy with his cool white suit a littlebit more in the foreground and looking at the human in the suit ... he could also rise his hand like he
was going to ask him something ... to show the interaction between human and alien better.
Keep it up.

Hi Fabio. Good solid progress there. If you couldn't have the time to model the rest, you could always paint them in. At first, I assume the big yellow thing is a robot. But I assume that you intended it to be a human. Having a clear sign of human life in the suit might help. Perhaps an obviously-human name tag on the front of the suit, someone name McKenzie? :) (No offense to the McKenzies out there, but it sounded very astronaut-ish, like Armstrong)
Keep going, and all the best!
05-05-2008, 06:47 PM
I think your work is really amazing.
Enjoying the characters and your texture work is really something.
Can't to see the rendered textures on the robot.
I'm only trying to get through one of these challenges for once, and it's definitely been a learning experience. True there really isn't much time.
Boa sorte cara, isso estah me parecendo muito legal
PS-- From your surname I'm trying to guess you're Brazilian, but if I'm wrong I'm only saying your work is looking very cool. And in Italian I think I can only say Buona Fortuna or something heh
05-05-2008, 10:08 PM
Woot! Cheering you on! :)
05-05-2008, 10:18 PM
Hi oz! your Aliens Concept is very good!! & I like sea horse Neon light! I hope do your best!
Just an alternative vision of an Uplift.
05-09-2008, 12:17 PM
I like your last post, very funy, but to late for this challenge.
In your last post , i see that the background have too much importance.Maybe u should make it darker to give more importance to the characters. Also i think that the right building is too dark.
Anyway you are doing a very god work.http://forums.cgsociety.org/images/icons/icon13.gif
05-09-2008, 12:35 PM
LOL funny! :applause:
Just realised you made that as a joke!
05-09-2008, 12:53 PM
Come on it's time to . Don't worry take your time
05-10-2008, 01:22 AM
Nice looking stuff OZ! Thanks for the posts on my thread, haven't posted in a while :p. BTW, I think that last image is probably the best one to be posted throughout the entire challenge so far lol. Hope to see you finish man! The scene is looking great, I myself just got my first comp of the entire scene put together so I'm feeling your pain on the load of stuff still to finish! Best of luck!
one of the last guys... The ratan uplifted rat. Im running out of time...OUCH!
05-10-2008, 11:59 PM
Love the ratman. But there's something about that yellow big guy that puts me off... not really sure what. IMHO he would fit better as a background character, either ratman or that other alien would fit better as a main character. Keep it up.
05-11-2008, 09:12 AM
Fabio now it's time to finish my friend.
05-11-2008, 05:46 PM

HI GUYS! thx...tnx...many thx 4 ur unestimable support to this alienoid thread!
I'll answer one by one asap because...as u can imagine..im a bit under pressure to finish this image!!
Past week was a pain...i got to finish some graphic and animation for a show about the science storical places of Florence. Is a cool work but take me away so many time that now I must finish the challenge with less care than i want.
Anyway i have read ALL your comments about the yellow guy and the image and i hope to make the proper changes where will be possible..
TNX again...now...some concepts directly from my "project book".
Good luck to everyone and...HAVE FUN!!

05-13-2008, 12:46 PM
just about time. finally able to see the pieces together. nice environment. im missing something to focus on as central point if im allowed to say. maybe a stronger light for the couple. the characters are relly cool man. ! good luck with the tweaks and the challenge!
This is a shot of the orbital spaceport of Altea. Here many uplifted races, aliens and humas live and together.
05-13-2008, 03:11 PM
amazing job oz  its incredible the amount of work you did really, a lot i can say about this image but i think it speaks for it self :D congratulations
05-13-2008, 03:13 PM
Finally Finished Congratulations . May I suggest something why don't you add another pic with all the characters .
Like I did there
OW...OW...OW...feel so tired!! guys! tnx...what a rush! past two weeks kills me!And kills the jb too!
My everyday work took mee too much time away to finish this image how i figured at the beginning of the challenge...but..if from a side i did not have in my hands a real "AS I WONT" work...from the other was really funny and rewarding live this exprerience with all you guys!
i had occasion to admire your fantastic works that inspire me and push me to till the end doing my best! And so did your post here.TNX A LOT!! now i got a lot o characters ( 5 never presented in this thread because away to be finisched) to play with...and a world that is taking shape day by day...following the intelligent suggestion of Scala and his Ze World and "philosophy" im on a base novel or ..."travel diary" base script for....a book? a short? something else? Eric you know what im talking about, right? ;)
Anyway...there are tons of issues in the final image, but hope you like tha "classic illustration" mood (i hope the image got it!!) . The very first visual inspiration for this scene was taken from the fantastic work of syd Mead (on blade runner and all the sentinel book series) and John Berkey.
I got to take a bit of rest (i dont sleep till 2 days due an unfortunate combination of deadlines )
SO...tell me...How i can fix this image? what did you change by your taste?
05-13-2008, 06:23 PM
Wonderful final ... it's got life ... the backlight fit very well and now the human is walking relaxed enough ... glad you made the deadline.
05-14-2008, 01:55 AM

Great stuff! Very well done - congrats on finishing :)
05-14-2008, 09:12 PM
Congratz on finishing some nice pic man!
Indeed I agree something to focus on is a bit missing.Maybe that's also because most of the characters seems to be almost the same size all which take out a bit of depth IMO.
Anyway great work and I like the atmosphere, makes me wanna have some spacebeer or so :-)
05-15-2008, 12:02 PM
Terrific work, Fabio! I'm really glad you finished and with style. I believe you reached the classical illustration way. And there certainly is a Blade Runner-ish feel to it. Wet, neon light, contrast... And your movie has a good budget for aliens ;)
You asked what to change if for one's own taste.. Well, while I like your final image quite a bit I think the work on the background is more impressive. All the characters, enviroments and so on you did - it is incredible. Your final image doesn't show them off. Not saying you could or should cram them all in one and still do them justice. Not very doable.
I'd probably change the some of the lighting, posing and locations of the characters. Some of the very cool aliens could take the foreground as they are, to me, groovier than the human. Or perhaps the absolutely wicked cyborgorilla. Then some dynamic poses for the figures, like hagling for some item with furious expression and pose. Lighting would not have to change in style, just add some to light to your character faces, maybe more illuminated areas like pools of light where some action happens, and some backlight to pop character profiles from the background. Finally maybe a roll, or whatever it is called, to the camera so that the ground is not staight horisontal but a tad more dynamic. Whee.. there. SOrry, I got carried away. This might break you classical scifi look, but that would be my changes to show the great great material you have made.
I hope that was more helpful then irritating
05-15-2008, 12:33 PM
Congrats from me too, very good work you've done here :)
