Wow, I'm guessing you had loads of traditional training as well as the digital work?

BTW. the tree program for XSI you used. Do you mind telling where the companies website is?
It looks great as well.

I'm wondering how is it going to work together with 3d foreground :)

Gnomeish: well, I draw a little :) but I prefer digital work and photos

and here is T-Gen website: http://www.simartom.com/

Pretty sweet :). The 3d matches the background nicely. Some crits: The lance point could be red, to read better, the camera could use some rim and'or fill light, as it does not read clearly (and there's an overlap with that white road in bg, which is a bit jarring), and the saucer could use some reflected light on the underside, and maybe some metallic reflections. Also, I'd either extend the bg tiny bit on the left side, feels a bit cramped in there.

Well, it's all about being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Space tourists landed in England in the time of king Arthur and his knights.
The image is done in Softimage XSI, textures and background in Photoshop. I also used T-Gen a Thickness plugins to XSI and UV Layout for some UVs.

thanks for your suggestions. unfortunately, i read them too late :) especially that camera and some space on the left side would be good :argh:
