Howdy all, I have a quick question for the gurus...

I was modeling the Star Wars pinball machine and I was wondering if using images of the real machine for color maps on the sides of the machine was copyright infringement.

So you think the standard "no commercial" use would apply?

Usually that's enough to protect you. But if your personal project got enough of a high profile, you might get a cease-and-desist letter. Doubtful, but possible.
