I've been trying to work on my drawing skills lately, so here's a picture of my cello bow that I drew as a gift to my cello teacher. It's not great obviously, but I'll surely get better over time. This is the first picture where I actually tried to be patient and take my time. Original picture is 14x17 inches, pencil and paper obviously.

Comments welcome of course, but I won't be changing anything on this particular picture; future stuff however, I'll take everything into account.

yes yes, patience is a very important factor, which i don't seem to have!! :surprised
i can obviously tell you spent some time with it, careful shading.
like you said it's not great, a lil boring perhaps but nevertheless it's a good start!

really nice, u seem to have really looked at what u were drawing, sounds obvious i know, but the amount of people who dont is amazing and it shows in their work, nice textures, and compared to the usual subject matter on these forums of course it seems boring. altho i like the cello, well in female hands, big wood between womens legs isnt boring to me.
post more!
