Hi, the rendering of it and the colors aren't bad, but the composition pulls you in too much to the lizard's head and sticks there. I like the clouds but at the same time I do'nt think they work. They look more like a strange rocky wall.
I also like the way the light passes through the lizard's wing

Very nice idea! I love the concept and the whole feel of the pic gives me a feeling like a cut scene from a epic story. I will have to agree with Maura. The clouds should be a bit more puffy and soft, at least the majority of them. If you put the highlights on some of the higher plumes that stick out it should have a great effect. To create a bit more movement and direction you could utilize the space above the 'dragon' if you move the dragon up a bit and make the clouds swirl a bit more from the center outwards that would give it a lot of motion.
I really like the transparency of the wing and the cape of the characters, it adds a great dimension to the painting!
great work!

Thx Roya for the critique, I really think I should have taken the render of the clouds futher than I did to make them more "cloudy" and soft, but truthfully I think I was lazy.
Shambok- Thx for the kind words. If I have the time to raise the lizard in the image I'll try that out and get a bit of a swirl in it aswell. Glad you liked the transparency, it took some work to get it right.
