Hi everybody! It's been quite a while since I last posted here. I wanted to share with you this portrait of a character of mine called Aelic, which has taken more time than it should have. I've strived to capture the weary look in her eyes, and an overall feeling of lonelyness. Dunno if I got it...

Hi! Yes! Her upper part of her nose is supposed to look weird, cause the bone/cartilage is bigger than usual. I meant it as a vestigial trait of her people, that once served a purpouse that no longer matters. I guess it would have been imposible to figure that out from the picture, but I didnīt want to bore you guys with the details behind the character.

very impressive! i love the overall sensitive fell she has to her look. she really appears vulnerable! the treatment of the hands, in fact all the skin and eyes is outstanding!

Thank you Flippy & Shambok for your comments. That was what I needed to hear. I spent more than a year on this picture (on and off), dedicating one or two hours to it every 2 or 3 weeks, cause the character means a lot to me and she is part of a story I hope to be able to tell someday.
