Personally the face you are modeling with him creeps me the @#ck out:applause: . I like it what exactly is going on with this character? i see the tubes comming out of him, yes Baron harconin is awesome make him messy like that with the pustuals all over him.

I have just some modification that I thought was needed: the joint in the broken wing just to make it look more like a wing.
I have some problems with his angles !! I don't know they should be that fat ??

I have found out what kind of pose I want for him, I saw the Matrix; revisited DVD in the weekend and got alot of ideas so I have tryed some poses.
this is the final pose.

The body is almost finished, now it is the level of detail that's missing so this is just the latest update before I start making the finishing touches.

I know that I have changed my mind about the project sometimes during the last month but I think that this is the best idea I have had so now I'm gonna stick to it, no more wires and stuff, just a fallen angel !!!

I have started texturing and this is the first render, it is just the head and it is made from pictures I found on the net, I wanted a realistic style and I don't draw that well.

This is some awsome work you'd make here! The only thing I can point my finger at, is the texture it needs more definition. But anyway - GREAT model, it did scare me! :thumbsup:

I put some more definition on the bumpmap and made pores for the skin and the bump " That took some time !! " but still considering this is my first real map in maya I think it's quite good.

I have, with some trouble, textured the model but i can't seem to get the right texture, I need some recipes for good skin textures right now it's a blinn with eccentricity:0.6 / Spec. 0.45

I still can't make the texture fit, by now I have tried alot and every time it's wrong, is there anyone who knows some really good tuturials for mapping in Maya ??? please help !!
and something else what is the map for making human skin blinn, lambert and so on ...... ???

About the skin: You'll want some sort of falloff that can make shadow and light parts emit different hues. In Max, it's a falloff map, in maya you have the toonshader.
It will give an illusion of specularity, allthough it takes a bit more than that. I'm still trying to figure out a good skinshader, but there's a mile long thread in the Texturing and Surfacing forum.
About the model: It looks really cool, but a few things that I'd like to see personally.
The wings would be great if you modelled a bit more of them - you know, rotting feathers falling off and that stuff.
Skin: I know you haven't hit the skinshader yet, but when you paint the map, consider many details in this tutorial:

The man is brilliant, and his leper guy has the kind of textures that might suit this model as well. (I.e. gritty, worn skin and decay).
Also, i'd shift the colorscheme more towards a white-ish grey. Mostly because an angel would be luminescent white and pure, but this guy would be perverted and the pure white of the angel would become the dirty white of a corpse.
Other than that, it's a great piece. :)
