good question.. what are we really looking at? i'm guessing its sand dunes going through pillars.. well.. well i'd start with the pillars.. and then move onto the sand.. specially since sand is annoying atmosphere too.. y'know.. loves to blow around.. and make everything look sandy. ya.. then just keep going from there.. but as is it looks a little crunched up.. like not enough space for everything you wanted to put into it.

I agree with Tayscrenn. To add on to that, i would make up a storyline. where does this world take place....time?..diff galaxy?... stuff like that. Then that may help you define the groundrules when designing it. keep em coming!

No,no. These things to the right and to the left are the rocks, distantly you can see some gray things, it's some metal things, like the parts of the bridge. More distantly it is a rock and a couple of buildings there. Hope you'll understand, my english is so sick ^^

I just don't know how to detalize rocks (instead of just texturing them) and these metal things.

And what about the metal?

okay.. its looking a bit better..

okay So rocks and a metal bridge beams? yes?

rocks you want a rough texture.. something that you can detail in to give the feel of crevaces.. cracks, whatever tickles your fancy..

the metal beams.. your gonna want a contrast from dark to light colors.. to make it look and feel shiny.. use straight as possible lines. (unless your good at making it curvey, but i can see you wanted it straight).. maybe some rough some details and intricities.. but.. just get the basics down. with some area's where the light likes to shine off..

the background rocks.. same as foreground.. just.. make it smaller.. i've seen a lot of starting artists detail the background the same as somethign close up.. and it all looks.. close up.. so.. details in the background. .but fuzzyer.. smaller.. less significant.. back there shading is more important.

well, i'm guessing your relatively new to the whole digital art thing.. trust me.. nothing ever looks great when you first start.. and.. everything generally looks better than you think it does... the more you get into the art.. the more you learn what to look for. sure your average joe won't know the difference.. but after a while the subtle things add up fast to take a decent peice and make it good. but ya still need to just.. make peices first. :-) good luck. hope it turns out for you!
