That's..... different. Excellent work at making it look like an old photograph, looks like the real thing. What's up with the right eye?

Are you SURE that's not a scanned photo? If it's a scan, what did you do in LightWave?

damn thats sweet looking.. The right eye looks a little funny... Kinda eerie because that looks very realistic.. Wireframe please

Damned...the right eye costs me hours and I'm not
happy with it...as others too....

I think it's the light which only throws specularity
to this eye...with the normal light setting it looks much
more wired....so back to work.

To answer Matt: It's completely LightWave 7.5 (except
the old look which is done in Photoshop) with help of
Impressions, RandomCloner.

The body itself is not finished...it's a part of my lets-build-
a-perfect.body-with-only-one-polygon.

I'm sorry, man. I think I want to see a wire frame also. Look on the bright side, you should be really flattered. ;)

EDIT: Simulpost!! OK, you are undeniably "The Man". :applause:

That eye gives it that whole, "That's just so weird, it has to be real" look.

Okay Guys,

here is the final (one of the many finals) of the LightWave
renderer. I've done several passes with Virtual Darkroom
(B&W and Color) which I then composed in Photoshop.
there I also enhanced the breast (nipples) and switched
Layers back and for (some with DOF some without).
G2 was also used. Most textures are planar mapping, some
UV's.....
The tatoos are handdrawn.

By the way... I think you will find Project Dogwaffle on
renderosity. It's a really cheap piant program with some
amazing features.

Project Dogwaffle is a free application that is just like photoshop.. I think it's still free?

...I'm pleased with your comments.

...but nothing stands still and the model still needs a lot
detail and work (the eyes you know) and so on...

Looks cool. You might want to work on your topology to prevent all those nasty creases.

wow!
you've had me!

first tought was:
what does an old scanned photo have to do with lightwave... then i saw the wires (i honestly couldnt believe it was a render until i saw them...)
and even knowing it IS indeed a render, it's hard to find render-telltales. (the only ones are the weird crease between the breasts and the hood/turban thing that is too thick and square at the edge)

it's fantastic!

p.s. about the topology. you can use the SPIN QUADS tool to fix the loops of polygons. just select 2 polys and spin them until they "face" the right directions... and i see a lot of triangles-couples, you can safely MERGE them to get quads... (i know this is a finished job, but with your skills, it would be a shame not to fix those minor details for your future works...)
