This is a prelimanary sketch that I decided to take a little further in development. I am not too sure as to what direction I will be heading in. I will work on some more concept sketches and post them later this week.

Here are some more sketches. I wish I had more time to do more and flush them out....but all that damn 3D is keeping me so busy!!!

Is there any background idea for these? Look cool but I just wanted to get an idea of what you were shooting for!

I guess this should have gone with my first post.....but better late than never is what I always say.

I am going to develop a human character for the 2D section of this contest. I figured that since it's been awhile since I've done any drawing, I would go with my strengths and design up a cool looking "Vampire Hunter D" archetype. I figured this approach would fit perfectly within the guidelines of the contest.

RACE: Human

CLASS: Stalker

ARTIFACT WEAPON: Dual swords (Undecided) that invoke the magic of DARKNESS/VOID

Some more quick sketches. Had to bust these out really quickly on a few 15 minute breaks since I sit right next to my lead and have way to much to do at work.

Looks cool so far man, but it reminds me of that "vampire" project you were doin while we were goin to school. Also I like the spear idea rather then the dual swords. Keep posting more.
