Has anybody had any success at UV Mapping with 98.09?
The reason I ask is that I had tried a few different things to get UV Mapping to work all resulted in error.
According to the Official forum you now have to import your "textured" image into wings using the "File > Image Plane" method. Once there your textured image will be below your UNWRAPED image. According to the forum, you just drag-and-drop your textured image ontop of the UNWRAP, but THIS DOES NOT WORK!
What I found is that you have to create your Textured image while your in UNWRAP mode(minimizing the program), import your image while in UNWRAP mode and then drag your texture over onto the large UNWRAPED image...then "Apply texture".
Yes that sort-of works...now you have a textured...FRANKENSTIEN... not sure, but it isn't the model you had before you textured it...what i mean is it destorts your model.
I was just wondering if anybody was having any sucess with this or a work-a-round...or tell me I'm doing something wrong(with the correct method, of course).
