The devil.

I painted this character last year and hated how it turned out. So I redesigned him, and I'm much much much more satisfied with the result this time around.

Painter 8 and PS 7.0. I went crazy with the details with this one... I tried to create a realistic amount of depth and texture, but offset it with a few things that give the image a subtle horror undertone.

A closer look at his eye, perhaps?

I like the way the face turned out.The expression looks kinda calm but it’s still terrifying,which is so harder to create than just paint a screaming face or such.4*

Superb eyes. My only critique is that I thought it was a woman at first. If that was not intended to be ambiguous, you might want to consider it.

I love the way you present beings with souls and personalities. Soft, floating hair give it underwater feeling. Hair are my fav thing to paint, I still dream to paint such floating locks with real depth of field and details. Bloody strands ends are alarming, but it's too late I came to close...
The only detail I don't like are the sculls - they are a bit artificial to the whole painting, I don't know how to describe it. But yes - their contrast color makes him more demonic. Great job!
