View Full Version : Help! Another stupid animation problem!
Mahlikus 05-07-2003, 06:16 AM Okay here is the situation. I have a camera targeted to a null. I am trying to animate the camera to rotate around the null. Problem is the HPB (rotation section of the coordinates tab) settings of the camera seem to be locked. Changes I make to them to try and rotate the camera don't take. :banghead:
????
Does the camera's name being green mean anything? The rotation in the view port seems to work fine...
Thanks

yeah I'd say thats a head banging kind of question when you hear the response. The reson they are greyed out so you can't change them, is because the camera is targeted. That means its has to roates itself to aim at the target object. if you rotated it, it would no longer be aimed at the target.

so if you want it to rotate around the null... change the heirarchy, don't have the camera targeted at the null, instead have the camera as a child of the null... and rotate the null.
