I'm trying to edit my video to an audio .mp3. However when I import it and put it on the timeline, I can't hear it when I press play. I can't hear it either when I try to scrub the track. All my levels are fine and, the settings are correct.

Why can't I hear my music. I know premiere lets you do this rather easily, so I would imagine it can be done in after effects as well. I'm using CS3 on a mac. Please help.

Hi,
Well first of all the alt(Option) and draging on your timeline will give you the audio preview. As for the whole audio, try the menu Composition > Preview > Audio.
